Cold Brew Tea
Cut a square of cheese cloth. Place the tea in the center of the cheese cloth and then wrap the cheesecloth around the tea, forming a pouch. Tie off with kitchen twine. Add the tea pouch to the gallon of water and place in the fridge for 12-24 hours. Alternatively, the loose tea leaves can be added directly to the water and strained out before serving.
When ready to serve, sweeten the tea to taste with the simple syrup. Start with ½ cup and add more according to your own taste. Serve over ice.
